Finding locations/addresses in this way is not possible for all countries in the world. The accuracy of the data cannot be guaranteed. Using them is your own responsability. An Excel spreadsheet to convert coordinates (dd.ddddd° «=» dd° mm' ss.s" «=» dd° mm.mmm') can be downloaded here. Once you have found a pair of decimal coordinates you can produce a very simple URL to e.g. send to your contacts as a quick route description on the Google Maps page. The link to the Goldenes Dachl (the default coordinates of this page) would then read: http://maps.google.com/?q=47.26855,11.39320 where the first number is the latitude and the second the longitude (use the "-" sign for South and West respectively).
